Hi! My name is Abril, and I’m an Argentinian freelancer who works her dream job as a video game translator.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been passionate about video games. It all started when I was around 5, when my mother let me borrow her Sega. Language may have been a challenge back then, yet I sorted it out by playing with a dictionary within reach all the time as soon as I learned how to read (before that, I just drove my mom crazy asking her about every single word that popped up on-screen). Thanks to that, I had the chance to immerse myself in countless worlds filled with fantastic stories and realize that games were pieces of art and that everyone should have access to them. So, when I discovered that I could earn a living working as a game translator and bringing joy to Spanish-speaking gamers around the globe, choosing my career path was a no-brainer…
I just took the two areas I love the most and turned them into my profession!
The Spanish version of the project you’ve worked so hard on deserves to be just as special, distinctive, and memorable as the original. Let’s do it together!
To truly connect with gamers, you need to touch their hearts. And what better way to do so than speaking their language? Reach a wider audience with your video game by hiring a fellow gamer and skilled translator (that’s me!) to localize your game into Spanish, transposing the source material's tone, theme, and style for Latin American gamers to enjoy.
Your video game is already localized into Spanish? I may still be able to help you. Whether that localization was made by loving fans or an “all-knowing” AI, I can review it to look for and correct mistranslations to ensure a natural and consistent quality translation that matches your expectations—and your audience’s.
If your game is correctly localized, don’t release it just yet! You can send me a finished version of your video game and let me test it to detect, report, and solve any linguistic bugs. Context mistakes, truncated text, grammar errors, and typos are more common than you think!
Request a quote, ask any questions you may have, or simply hire me to help you reach a Spanish-speaking audience.
